Multipurpose Development Society (MPDS) is a Nepali non-governmental, not-for-profit, social development organization, committed to driving positive change and empowerment in Nepal’s rural communities. The organization's vision is to envision a healthy, beautiful, peaceful, disciplined, self-reliant, exemplary, and dynamic society with gender equality.  MPDS has been working with the poor and marginalized people in Sudurpaschim province to empower them for the past 28 years.

MPDS is a sub-recipient of the Global Fund. It has been implementing the Strengthening Health Resilience in Nepal: HIV, TB, Malaria – TB Active Case Finding Program in Sudurpaschim Province with funding support from the Global Fund and in the partnership with United Nations Development Program (UNDP) from April 2025. This project is executed in close coordination and technical support with the National Tuberculosis Control Center (NTC) and Health Offices. MPDS has announced a vacancy for the following position to ensure effective project implementation seeking highly qualified and motivated Nepali citizen.

Minimum Required Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in public health, social science, population or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, Work Experience, and Commitment
  • At least 3 years' working experience in TB/HIV program or relevant program sector.
  • Knowledge of program planning, program implementation, program monitoring and team handling.
  • Knowledge of TB and HIV Program in Nepal.
  • Knowledge and familiar with HMIS TB recording and reporting system of Government of Nepal (NTC).
  • Knowledge of ensuring accuracy and consistency in data and report preparation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under any pressure to meet the deadline and achieve the assigned target.
  • Good knowledge of logistic management and stock handling.
  • Good command and skills to operate MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Competent in coordination, collaboration, and liaison with government and non-governmental stakeholders as well as local communities.
  • Good Skills in interpersonal communication, negotiation, team mobilization and documentation.
  • Skills of report writing, data interpretation, and presentation.
  • Must have a 2-wheeler driving license.
