PROJECT OVERVIEW
CECI is launching a 36-month regional initiative in Nepal and the Philippines, titled "Strengthening Civil Society for Inclusive Democracy and Human Rights" or the SAMA-SAMA project, funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC). This initiative will be implemented in 12 local governments (LGs) in the Madhesh and Lumbini provinces. Therefore, we seek qualified professionals to join our project team to enhance the capacity of civil society and promote civic engagement and democratic participation among women and marginalized groups (WMGs), aligning with inclusive governance, human rights, and gender equality interventions.
VACANCIES
(1) Gender Equality and Human Rights (GEHR) Specialist
1 position/ full-time/ based in Kathmandu with frequent travel to the project areas
The Gender Equality and Human Rights (GEHR) Specialist supports GESI mainstreaming for the project. The GEHR Specialist will develop and ensure the effective integration of the country-level project’s strategy for gender equality and human rights. This strategy is based on the Project Implementation Plan (PIP), the GEHR Strategy, and the Gender-Based Analysis from an intersectional perspective (GBA+). The specialist will provide technical support to project teams, consultants, and partners, engaging in capacity building, policy reviews, and promoting inclusive practices across project portfolios and partnerships to ensure that project activities reflect and promote the principles of gender equality and human rights. Additionally, the specialist contributes to developing impactful knowledge products through a gender and inclusion lens.

(2) Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Specialist
1 position/ full-time/ based in Kathmandu with frequent travel to the project areas
CECI Nepal seeks an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Specialist to support the project's monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning efforts. The MEAL Specialist will assist the project and partners by developing and implementing a robust MEAL system that aligns with project goals, ensures continuous improvement, and carries out data collection, analysis, reporting, and evaluation to gauge the project’s effectiveness. The Specialist will also maintain data integrity, ensure compliance with donor and CECI reporting requirements, and integrate accountability mechanisms, while facilitating learning processes, promoting evidence-based decision-making, and upholding ethical standards in monitoring and evaluation.

(3) Driver | (सवारी चालक)
1 position/ full-time/ based in Kathmandu with frequent travel to the project areas
CECI Nepal is looking for a skilled Driver to manage its vehicle and ensure its upkeep. This role involves daily vehicle cleaning, monitoring regular maintenance and servicing, handling vehicle taxes, assisting the front desk with necessary services, and undertaking extensive driving to remote project sites while also executing assigned administrative and logistics tasks.
