Development of a Digital Training Module on Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) based on IMAM Training Guideline 2081

About the project:

The POSHAN Project is part of the broader Mother and Child Wellbeing Initiative funded by LDSC and jointly implemented by CARE Nepal and iDE Nepal. The project aims to improve maternal and child nutrition outcomes through integrated interventions across health, food systems, markets, WASH, governance, women's empowerment, and social behavior change sectors.

The Family Welfare Division (FWD), Department of Health Services, has revised the Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) Guideline and Training Package to align with current evidence and national priorities. To support effective dissemination and capacity building of health workers and relevant stakeholders, the project intends to support FWD to develop an interactive, competency-based digital learning package that can be delivered through an online Learning Management System (LMS).

Objective of the assignment: 

The objective of this consultancy is to develop a standardized, high-quality, interactive, and competency-based digital IMAM training module based on the revised national IMAM Guideline and Training Package 2081 with the close coordination of FWD. The digital learning package will facilitate self-paced learning, learner assessment, progress tracking, and certification while maintaining alignment with national protocols and technical standards produced by government of Nepal.
