CARE is an international NGO with local staff and community partners in more than 90 countries. CARE started its operations in Nepal in 1978 and is one of the first international aid agencies to work in the country. CARE Nepal works to address systemic and structural causes of poverty and social injustice such as discrimination based on sex, caste, class, ethnicity or geography. CARE supports humanitarian actions to address vulnerabilities from climate change and natural disasters. CARE works with marginalized women and adolescent girls to ensure their empowerment, well-being and dignity through social transformation and access to quality social and economic services. To achieve this, CARE partners with a range of stakeholders, including local NGOs and other civil society organizations, social movement, government agencies, research and academic institutions, private sector and donors to support the most vulnerable communities and populations.

CARE Nepal invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) and quotations from eligible suppliers/vendors for the supply and delivery of laptops, tablets, and other IT equipment. The selected suppliers may be considered for current project requirements as well as future procurement opportunities under a Framework Agreement (FWA) or Long-Term Agreement (LTA) arrangement.

Interested and eligible suppliers/vendors registered under VAT in Nepal are encouraged to submit their quotations in PDF format via email to npl.carenepal@care.org. The submission must clearly indicate the date of submission, details of the submitting firm/vendor, and the contact information of the designated focal person. To download the detailed list of required items/equipment, please click HERE. The deadline for submission of quotations is 31 August 2026.

Only suppliers/vendors duly registered for VAT in Nepal will be considered eligible for the supply and delivery of the goods. Interested vendors must submit copies of the following supporting documents along with their quotation in both pdf and editable version.

  • Organization Registration Certificate (or equivalent legal registration document);
  • Latest Tax Clearance Certificate;
  • Renewal Certificates (where applicable);
  • PAN/VAT Registration Certificate;
  • Authorized Dealership/Distribution Certificate (if available); and
  • Any other relevant supporting documents.
  • Vendors can quote for all items or selected items which they can supply.

Please note that the quotation must be valid for a minimum period of One Year for FWA/LTA purpose. Any price revision during this period will be considered only in the event of substantial changes in global market conditions or foreign exchange rates, subject to mutual agreement between both parties. 

Note: Proposals submitted with a cloud storage or shared drive folder link will not be accepted and may be considered non-compliant, resulting in disqualification. However, supporting documents such as company registration certificates, renewal documents, and other documents may be provided through cloud storage or shared drive links for reference purposes.

CARE reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal received without giving reasons and is not bound to accept the lowest, the highest or any bidder. Only the successful applicant will be contacted.
