Blue Diamond Society (BDS), established in 2001, is Nepal’s pioneering national level LGBTQIA+ organization working for the rights, empowerment, and social justice of Gender and Sexual Minorities Community. BDS collaborates closely with government bodies, media, and other stakeholders to advance inclusive policies, foster acceptance, and strengthen the empowerment of LGBTQIA+ individuals. In addition to its advocacy role, BDS is a leading NGO in HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment, promoting human rights and health equity. The organization is accelerating efforts to improve HIV case detection among key populations and priority groups, ensuring early enrollment in treatment, expanding viral load testing, and enhancing adherence and retention among people living with HIV (PLHIV).

With the support of the European Union Nepal and DanChurch Aid in Nepal (DCA), BDS is implementing the Promoting Rights, Inclusion, Dignity and Enhanced Political Participation of LGBTIQ+ Individuals in Nepal (PRIDE) project to promote the political empowerment of LGBTIQ+ communities in Nepal.The PRIDE project is a three-year initiative (2026-2028) implementing by BDS with financial support from the European Union. The project responds to the continued marginalization of LGBTIQ+ communities in Nepal, where despite constitutional guarantees of equality and inclusion, many individuals still face social stigma, discrimination, and barriers to participating in political processes at local, provincial, and federal levels. PRIDE aims to strengthen civil society organizations, particularly LGBTIQ+-led groups, to promote meaningful political participation and representation. It focuses on building capacity, generating evidence for advocacy, and fostering engagement with government agencies and political parties to create inclusive policies and practices. 

Blue Diamond Society invites qualified suppliers of one or several of the following goods and services for PRIDE and other different projects to respond to this advertisement. Suppliers who have responded to this advertisement and provides the required information may be invited to participate in the Procurement Procedure for the relevant lot(s).
