Position Summary
The Administration & HR Officer is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Company's administrative and human resource functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and operational requirements while supporting an efficient and positive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Administration
• Manage office administration and daily operational support.
• Coordinate procurement, office maintenance, asset management, and inventory.
• Manage airline duty rosters, travel arrangements, meetings, and administrative logistics.
• Maintain company records and filing systems.
Human Resources
• Manage day-to-day HR operations and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation.
• Administer performance reviews, probation, contract renewals, and internal staffing coordination.
• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Maintain HR records, reports, organizational charts, and job descriptions.
• Approve leave, attendance adjustments, and travel requests through the HRIS.
Legal & Compliance
• Coordinate government registrations, renewals, permits, and statutory compliance.
• Liaise with government offices, vendors, and service providers.
• Support compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor statutory deadlines and company compliance obligations.
• Draft and review routine HR and administrative documents.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel and regulatory authorities as required.
General Responsibilities
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
• Recommend improvements to HR and administrative processes.
• Support implementation of company policies and HR systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB) or Master's Degree in Law (LLM).
• HR specialization or certification preferred.
Experience
• 2–5 years' experience in HR, administration, legal compliance, or a related field.
Skills
• Knowledge of Nepal Labour Act and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
