VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Integrated Community Development Campaign (ICDC) Nepal is a non-profit making, non -governmental, non - religious and service oriented national level organization. ICDC has been working in the various thematic issues of socio-economic development including livelihood, education, advocacy, environment, sanitation, DRR, human/child rights protection, gender, youth, employment and migration as well as mental health/psychosocial support and HR development. Integrated Community Development Campaign (ICDC) Nepal is implementing an Emergency Flood Response project in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading districts to deliver timely, needs-based humanitarian assistance and immediate service recovery.

ICDC invites applications from highly competent, experienced and committed professionals for the following positions based in project districts.

1. Position: Project Coordinator (Few positions)

Project: Emergency Flood Response (EFR)

Location: Rasuwa, Nuwakot, or Dhading 

Reports to: Program Manager, ICDC Nepal

Working Hours: As per organization policy

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Possibility of extension based on performance, resources, and project needs)

Job Summary

The Project Coordinator will lead and oversee the day-to-day delivery, field coordination, and effective implementation of emergency response activities within their assigned district. They will ensure interventions are timely, inclusive, high-quality, and fully aligned with project goals, community needs, and organizational policies.

2. Position: Project Officer (Protection) (Few)

Project: Emergency Flood Response (EFR)

Location: Field Office with frequent visits to project areas

Reports to: Project Coordinator

Working Hours: As per organization policy

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Subject to project requirements and organizational arrangements)

Job Summary

The Project Officer (Protection) will support the integration of protection principles across the emergency response, ensuring interventions are safe, inclusive, dignified, and accessible to affected communities, with a strong focus on children, women, older people, and persons with disabilities.

3. Position: Livelihood Officer (Few)

Program: Emergency Flood Response (EFR)

Location: Field Office with frequent visits to project areas

Reports to: Project Coordinator

Working Hours: As per organization policy

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Subject to project requirements and organizational arrangements)

Job Summary

The Livelihood Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and reporting Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) activities. The position ensures timely, safe, and inclusive support to flood-affected households to promote food security, immediate recovery of livelihoods, and restoration of basic income sources.

4. Position: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Officer

Project: Emergency Flood Response (EFR)

Location: Field Office with frequent visits to project areas

Reports to: Project Coordinator

Working Hours: As per organization policy

Contract Duration: One year (Subject to project requirements and organizational arrangements)

Job Summary

The MEAL Officer will lead Project monitoring, data management, accountability mechanisms, and learning documentation. The position is responsible for establishing and running robust MEAL systems that ensure evidence-based implementation, quality assurance, community feedback integration, and documentation of lessons for project replication and scale-up.

5. Position: Protection/Psychosocial Officers (Few)

Program: Emergency Flood Response (EFR)

Location: Dhading, Rasuwa, & Nuwakot Districts

Reports to: Project Coordinator

Working Hours: As per organization policy

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Subject to project requirements and organizational arrangements)

Job Summary

The Protection/Psychosocial Officer will support the delivery of protection and psychosocial support services to flood-affected and vulnerable communities. The position focuses on ensuring safety, dignity, social inclusion, and seamless access to essential referral and support services.

6. Position: Social Mobilizer

Project: Emergency Flood Response (EFR)

Location: Field-based (100% field presence across targeted project districts)

Number of Positions: Few

Reports to: Project Coordinator / Field Lead

Working Hours: As per organization policy

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Subject to project requirements and performance)

Job Summary

The Social Mobilizer is a 100% field-based position responsible for direct community engagement, local mobilization, supporting relief distribution, and facilitating Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) interventions. The role serves as the vital link between affected communities and ICDC Nepal’s field operations.
