Anchor of Hope (AoH) is expanding its team and is looking for dedicated professionals to join us in a range of positions.

Position 1: Finance and Administration Officer

Location: Hetauda

Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

AoH is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance and Administration Officer to manage financial operations and administrative functions. The role ensures strong financial management, compliance with regulations, and efficient office operations to support program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Finance:

  • Maintain accurate financial records, bookkeeping, and documentation
  • Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Manage bank transactions, reconciliations, and payments
  • Support budgeting and monitor program expenditures (including scholarships)
  • Assist in audits and ensure financial compliance

Administration:

  • Manage office operations, procurement, and logistics
  • Maintain inventory and asset records
  • Handle contracts, documentation, and filing systems

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with government regulations (SWC, tax, audit)
  • Support donor and board reporting requirements

HR Support:

  • Assist in payroll processing and staff record management
  • Support recruitment and onboarding processes

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience (NGO/INGO experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in Nepal
  • Experience with accounting software and MS Excel

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Position 2: Finance & Administration Assistant

Location: Hetauda

Employment Type: Part-time (20-25 hrs)

Position Summary

The Finance & Administration Assistant will support the organization’s financial management and administrative operations by maintaining accurate records, processing financial transactions, supporting procurement and logistics, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. The position is critical to the efficient functioning of AoH’s programs and office operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain financial records and prepare reports
  • Manage payments, reconciliations, and budgets
  • Support procurement, inventory, and office administration
  • Ensure compliance with government and donor requirements
  • Assist with payroll and HR administration

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 graduate, preferably enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong financial, organizational, and computer skills
  • Knowledge of NGO financial compliance is an advantage

Position 3: Liaison & Programs Officer

Location: Hetauda, Nepal (with travel within project areas as required)

Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

The Liaison & Programs Officer serves as the primary link between Anchor of Hope, government authorities, program partners, educational institutions, community stakeholders, and beneficiaries. The role is responsible for strengthening partnerships, supporting program implementation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining productive relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with local government authorities and relevant stakeholders.
  • Serve as the focal person for regulatory compliance, reporting, and official correspondence.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with schools, community groups, and program partners.
  • Support planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of AoH programs.
  • Conduct field visits and maintain accurate program documentation and beneficiary records.
  • Represent AoH in meetings, coordination forums, and stakeholder engagements as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Administration, Education, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in program coordination, stakeholder engagement, or government liaison.
  • Strong communication, networking, and report-writing skills in Nepali and English.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain positive professional relationships.
