In close partnership with the Government of Nepal (GoN), civil society, academia, and the private sector, FHI 360 Nepal delivers integrated programs across critical sectors. Our initiatives span essential health services—including HIV, maternal, newborn and child health (MNCH) and nutrition—procurement and supply chain management (PSM) for life-saving drugs, global health security (GHS)—including laboratory strengthening, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), disease surveillance, evidence-based public health messaging and community engagement, and health emergency management—and air quality management.
FHI 360 Nepal invites applications from qualified individuals with relevant academic qualifications, experience and expertise to fill various positions under United States Government (USG)-funded projects—Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) and Strengthening Infectious disease Detection System (STRDIES)—as outlines below.

| 1. | Associate Director-Programs and Operations, EpiC Nepal Project | The Associate Director –Programs and Operations will work under the supervision of the EpiC Project Director/Country Representative and will provide oversight and quality assurance for project start-up in expansion areas, as well as field-level implementation and monitoring, reporting, budget management and tracking tasks in close collaboration with technical, finance and operations staff. The position will ensure an efficient and successful subgrant management process and will ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, including adherence to budget, scope, and schedule requirements of the project. This position will provide support for liaising and coordination as well as cultivating strong working relationships with government and non-government stakeholders The position will plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. The Associate Director-Program and Operations will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient project implementation and will work closely with management to ensure financial, administrative, contractual, logistical efficiency and compliance. This position will serve as a liaison between staff and the organization’s administrative, technical, and enterprise services to maintain smooth operations between headquarters and field offices. | Master’s degree in Management, Public Health, or a related field (such as Knowledge/Information Services, Communications, Education, Environment, Health, Behavioral, Life/Social Sciences, International Development, or Human Development) with five to seven years of experience in project management, including cross-cultural communications and familiarity with US Government rules and regulations, along with three years of line management experience; or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with seven to ten years of related experience. |
| 2. | Admin/Operations and Procurement Manager | The Admin/Operations and Procurement Manager is responsible for managing administration and operations of the FHI 360 Nepal office. The position works and provides support for efficient management of procurement, travel arrangements, inventory, office services, vehicles, and insurance while maintaining compliance with FHI 360 policies and procedures as well as local statutory and regulatory, and funders requirements. The Admin/Operations and Procurement Manager work closely with all departments and units within FHI 360 Nepal to ensure smooth and timely office operations. | Master’s degree in humanities, business management or related social science or behavioral sciences and around five years related experience in administrative and office procedures or a bachelor’s degree in humanities, business management or related social science or behavioral sciences with seven years’ experience in administrative and office procedures. |
| 3. | Technical Advisor, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) | The Technical Advisor, MNCH is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for activities in MNCH under the Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) project in Nepal. The Technical Advisor will be required to implement ambitious work plans to improve MNCH outcomes in Karnali, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), especially the Family Welfare Division (FWD), Department of Health Services (DoHS) as well as subnational government authorities. The Technical Advisor will contribute to the design of interventions work alongside the government, project staff, and local implementing partners to ensure technical excellence. The individual in this role will collaborate with other team members to ensure the provision of life-saving commodities and equipment to align with on-the-ground needs and contribute to monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning activities. The Technical Advisor will work closely with the EpiC Nepal Project Director, Technical Director, Nutrition, and other senior project leaders, the United States Department of State, FWD/DoHS officials, and EpiC technical backstops in MNCH strategic information, and program management to achieve an ambitious set of results quickly. | Master's degree in public health, behavioral and social sciences, or a related field with around five years of experience in managing MNCH-focused public health programs or a bachelor's degree with around eight years of experience as mentioned. |
| 4. | Laboratory and Diagnostic Advisor (Readvertisement: Applicants who previously applied in response to the announcement on February 16, 2026, do not need to reapply.) | The Laboratory and Diagnostics Advisor will provide technical leadership and guidance to support the staff and projects for the US Department of State (DOS)-funded STRIDES activity for the laboratory and diagnostic components in Nepal. The position will lead and manage the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic and technical initiatives to strengthen laboratory systems and diagnostic capacities and provide technical guidance around the issues, challenges, and strategies for building laboratory capacity in Nepal and improving access to quality diagnostic testing related to project activities. The Laboratory and Diagnostics Advisor will work closely with country-level teams, including the project management team, project technical providers, and key stakeholders, to ensure the provision of technical assistance to achieve effective, high-quality, and reliable laboratory services. The position will lead the development of guidelines and policies for laboratory diagnostic network strengthening activities, provide technical thought leadership at the regional and country levels, and contribute to the development of project statements of work, work plan development, monitoring and evaluation systems, technical reporting, and other administrative elements of the project. | Master’s degree in microbiology or other relevant subjects in biological sciences within a clinical or diagnostic discipline or specialty with eight years of experience working with infectious disease diagnostics and/or in laboratory systems strengthening (preferably microbiology, antimicrobial resistance (AMR)/antimicrobial use (AMU) or disease surveillance). |
| 5. | Team Leader – Strategic Information (SI) (Readvertisement: Applicants who previously applied in response to the announcement on January 22, 2026, do not need to reapply.) | The Team Leader – Strategic Information (SI) is responsible for leading and managing the Strategic Information (SI) of EpiC Nepal that includes Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) of project activities, Integrated Health Information Management System (IHIMS), District Health Information System (DHIS2), as well as research and surveillance activities. The Team Leader will work closely with other units of EpiC Nepal and provides structured, systematic, and effective technical assistance (TA) to its local implementing partners (IPs), Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) and other collaborating partners. | Master's degree in public health or Epidemiology or other relevant subject with five years’ of work experience in design and implementation of project monitoring evaluation and learning, use of IHIMS/DHIS2, surveillance, and other SI systems or bachelor's degree in public health, Epidemiology or other relevant subject with eight years of experience on design and implementation of project monitoring evaluation and learning, use of IHIMS/DHIS2, surveillance, and other SI systems. |
| 6. | Technical Specialist, Nutrition | The Technical Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance and quality improvement strategies, conducting assessments and reviews, providing technical guidance to various stakeholders at the national and subnational level to enhance the delivery of life saving health services and achieve EpiC’s objectives within its nutrition portfolio, which focuses on pregnant and lactating women and children under five years of age. The Specialist will liaise with government and other stakeholders at the national and subnational level, local implementing partners (IPs), as well as FHI 360 technical focal points in the Nepal office, in the Asia Region, and at headquarters for technical-related matters. | Master’s degree in public health, Nutrition, medicine, social science or behavioral science, or epidemiology with three years related experience or a bachelor’s degree with five years of related experience in development programming, especially planning, monitoring and evaluation. |
