1. Operations Manager – 1 Post
Location: Dhangadhi Branch
Job Description:
The Operations Manager is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all branch operations, program delivery, and team performance. This individual will ensure the efficient functioning of FFLN’s programs, maintain quality standards, manage staff, coordinate with schools, local authorities, and partners, and support strategic growth of branch initiatives.
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Dhangadhi branch, ensuring smooth implementation of meal programs and other initiatives.
- Supervise and manage branch staff, including cooks, helpers, and logistics personnel; conduct regular performance reviews and staff meetings.
- Ensure timely, hygienic, and quality-controlled preparation and distribution of meals.
- Monitor operational KPIs, program budgets, and expenditures; prepare monthly and quarterly operational reports.
- Develop and maintain relationships with schools, municipalities, community stakeholders, and donors.
- Identify operational challenges, propose solutions, and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with FFLN policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support fundraising, awareness campaigns, and community engagement initiatives in coordination with the central office.
- Represent FFLN in meetings, workshops, and events with external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Social Work, Development Studies, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in operations, program management, or branch leadership in NGOs or development organizations.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.

2. Local Fundraiser cum Communication Officer – 1 Post
Location: Dhangadhi Branch
Job Description:
The Local Fundraiser cum Communication Officer will play a key role in mobilizing resources, building relationships with donors, and promoting FFLN’s programs at the branch level. This position requires a motivated, proactive individual with excellent communication and networking skills, capable of representing the organization in the community.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement local fundraising campaigns, events, and donor engagement strategies.
- Identify potential donors, corporate partners, and community supporters, and maintain relationships.Draft proposals, reports, newsletters, and communication materials.
- Support awareness campaigns in schools and communities.
- Document and showcase program achievements through media, photos, and success stories.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Communication, Marketing, or related field.

3. Procurement & Logistics Officer – 1 Post

4. Chef – 1 Post (Mass Cooking Experience Required)

Food for Life Nepal (FFLN) is committed to providing nutritious meals to thousands of school children daily. We are seeking an experienced Chef with expertise in large-scale / mass cooking to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing meals efficiently while supporting the development of structured kitchen processes, including standardized recipes, SOPs, and menu planning. This position requires a professional who understands volume production, maintains consistency and high standards of food safety, and works effectively within a structured, team-oriented kitchen environment.
Major Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals in large quantities (mass cooking).
- Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and quality.
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards at all times.
- Support in developing and improving Kitchen Cooking SOPs.
- Assist in creating standardized recipes with accurate measurements.

The Quality Control Officer will ensure that all meals prepared and distributed under Food for Life Nepal’s programs meet required nutrition, hygiene, safety, and quality standards. The position plays a critical role in maintaining food safety compliance, monitoring kitchen operations, and improving overall service quality.
Major Responsibilities:
- Monitor food preparation processes to ensure hygiene and quality standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities, storage areas, and food handling practices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines and organizational SOPs.
- Maintain quality control records, checklists, and inspection reports.
- Train kitchen staff on hygiene practices, food safety, and quality standards.

Job Description:
Food for Life Nepal (FFLN) is seeking a responsible and hardworking Driver (Driver cum Kitchen Attendant) to support transportation and operational activities under its feeding program. The position involves safe driving of organization vehicles for meal distribution as well as assisting the kitchen team in daily preparation and maintenance activities.
Major Responsibilities:
Driving & Logistics Support:
- Safely operate organization vehicles (such as Omni vans or similar delivery vehicles).
- Transport and deliver food containers to designated schools and program locations on time.
- Load and unload food containers during dispatch and return.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, logbooks, fuel records, and routine maintenance checks.
- Follow traffic rules and ensure safe handling of meals during transportation.
Kitchen & Operational Support:
- Assist kitchen staff in food preparation activities as required.
- Support cleaning of utensils, containers, and kitchen premises after meal preparation and distribution.
- Help in organizing storage of food supplies and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Assist in setting up and packing food containers before and after distribution.
- Perform other operational support tasks as assigned by the Operation Manager.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Nepali driving license (Light Vehicle category).
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience.
- Experience driving vans such as Omni or similar delivery vehicles preferred.
- Physically fit and willing to assist in kitchen and cleaning activities.
- Responsible, punctual, and able to work in a team environment.
