Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal is a non-political and non-profitable organization established on May 2002 with its head office in Rautahat District, Madhesh Province, Nepal. Since then, RDC Nepal is heavily engaged in humanitarian assistance, community development, conservation of natural resources, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the dozens of humanitarian and long-term development projects reaching out to the children, adolescent, youth, women, landless, urban poor and people living with disabilities, HIV & AIDS patients, conflict and disaster survivors from the poor families of historically marginalized Dalits, Muslims, Madhesi and Indigenous communities and other underprivileged groups. Project background

Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal is implementing a five-year PARIBARTAN Project in Chandrapur and Gujara Municipalities of Rautahat District with financial support from the Australian Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and technical support from ADRA The project targets poor and marginalized farming communities vulnerable to climate shocks. The project promotes climate-resilient agriculture, improved livestock practices, enhanced market access, financial inclusion, and social equity through technical training, infrastructure support, and cooperative engagement. Farmer Market Schools, Climate Field Schools, and partnerships with technicians and local service providers will enhance productivity, market participation, and livelihoods. Community-based adaptation planning and active participation in municipal decision-making will further strengthen local climate action.

Application and Submission Deadline

Interested consultants/firms that meet the above-mentioned requirements are encouraged to apply by submitting their Expression of Interest (EoI) along with the required documents mentioned above. Please mention “Climate_Profiling_PARIBARTAN” in the subject line and send the documents to the Procurement Department of RDC Nepal at procurement@rdcnepal.org.
