For Hiring a Website Designer

1. Background:

Kalika Self-reliance Social Centre (KSSC-Nepal) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Taulihawa, Kapilvastu, dedicated to promoting social development, health, nutrition, WASH, education, agriculture, food security, women rights, child rights and human rights. To enhance its digital presence and communication outreach, KSSC-Nepal seeks to develop a user-friendly, responsive, and informative website.

2. Objective of the Assignment:

To design and develop a fully functional, secure, and responsive website that reflects KSSC-Nepal’s mission, programs, activities, and achievements, and enables effective communication with stakeholders.

3. Scope of Work:

The website designer will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Design a dynamic and responsive website layout with appealing graphics and structure.
• Develop core pages (e.g., Home, About Us, Programs, News & Events, Gallery, Contact Us, etc.).
• Integrate CMS (Content Management System) for easy updates.
• Ensure mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatibility.
• Incorporate Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
• Provide admin training to KSSC-Nepal dedicated staff.
• Set up hosting and domain if not already in place.
• Provide post-launch technical support (minimum 3 months).

4. Deliverables:

• Website design concept and prototype for approval.
• Fully functional website with all requested features.
• User manual/documentation and training to staff.
• Maintenance support (as agreed terms).
• The web hosting storage space for the website should be at least 10 GB.

5. Duration:

The assignment should be completed within 4 weeks from the date of contract signing.

6. Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in designing and developing NGO or social development organization websites.
• Strong portfolio of past web design projects.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress (or similar CMS).
• Ability to provide ongoing support and updates.

7. Application Process:

• Technical and financial proposal (separately)
• Company profile or CV
• Portfolio/samples of previous relevant work
• PAN/VAT registration and tax clearance certificates (for firms)
• Company registration and renewal documents
• Tax Clearance Certificate F/Y 2080-081.

8. Deadline for Submission:
