Background information
Action for Nepal is a non-profit organization working to improve the living conditions of people in rural and underserved communities across Nepal. We are seeking a qualified translator to translate a comprehensive public health document from English into Nepali. The document is approximately 200 pages in length and contains technical terminology related to public health.
Scope of Work
The selected translator will:
- Translate approximately 200 pages of content from English to Nepali.
- Ensure technical accuracy, especially for public health terminology.
- Maintain consistency in language, tone, and formatting.
- Review and proofread translated content before submission.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions as required by the project
Qualification Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Medicine, or a related field.
- Proven experience in translating technical/public health documents.
- Excellent command of both English and Nepali languages.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
