Service Provider – RANGA Project

Debate Network Nepal

Details / requirements:

Program Background and Rationale:

Reclaiming Advocacy through Narratives, Debates, Grassroot Theatre and Arts (RANGA) project is a youth-focused initiative implemented by the consortium of Mandala Theatre-Nepal (Mandala), Debate Network Nepal (DNN) and Campaign for Change (CFC) with funding from the European Union under Next Generation Nepal’s Youth Programme from 2026 to 2028. RANGA project adopts a multi‐sectoral creative methodology combining theatre, storytelling, debate, and media to empower Nepali youth, especially marginalized groups.

With the objective of strengthening civil society by empowering Nepali youth (especially marginalized groups) as resilient actors of good governance and inclusive development through theatre, debates, and storytelling, RANGA project is designed as a layered intervention to be implemented across all provinces and have a national-level impact. Its core activities are distributed across three interlinked clusters: performing arts and storytelling, civic debate and discourses, and intersex rights and creative advocacy.

The DNN component focuses on debate, club formation, mentorship, facilitation, youth leadership, provincial policy dialogues, and youth-focused public communication linked to employability, cultural rights, inclusion, and civic participation. To support implementation quality, DNN intends to engage one qualified third-party service provider to support selected outputs and activities under this project.

Purpose:

The purpose of this ToR is to define the scope, eligibility, responsibilities, deliverables, communication expectations, and application requirements for the third-party service provider that will support DNN in implementation of selected project activities under the RANGA project.

The engagement under this call is intended to support delivery of clearly defined project outputs, including mentorship programs, fellowships, showcase debates, policy dialogues, implementation coordination, communications, visibility outputs, reels, and human stories.
