SO Nepal is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation that works to protect vulnerable children by providing temporary residential care and supporting their safe reintegration into families and communities. We are inviting applications for the following position:

Senior Psychosocial Counsellor (Part-time) – 1 Position

Location: Shivapuri, Nuwakot

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial and emotional counselling to children in our care.
• Conduct home and school visits to support children and their families, as required.
• Assess and monitor the psychosocial well-being of children.
• Manage cases, maintain records and prepare reports.
• Facilitate individual and group counselling, peer education and life skills sessions.
• Undertake other related duties as assigned.

Eligibility

• Master's degree in Counselling Psychology.
• At least three years' professional experience in psychosocial counselling.
• Valid two-wheeler driving licence and willingness to work flexible hours.

The successful candidate must comply with SO Nepal's Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct.

Salary: As per SO Nepal policy, based on qualifications and experience.
