Background of Organization:

The Feminist Dalit Organization (FEDO) Nepal is a pioneering Dalit women-led civil society organization established to challenge the deeply entrenched systems of caste- and gender-based discrimination in Nepal. Since its founding, FEDO has worked at the intersection of social justice, feminist movements, and human rights, positioning Dalit women not as beneficiaries but as agents of change. Its work is grounded in a rights-based and movement-oriented approach that seeks to transform unequal power relations at multiple levels.

Over the past three decades, FEDO has evolved into a nationally and internationally recognized institution with a strong grassroots presence across Nepal. Through its network of community-based groups, district chapters, and alliances with civil society, government institutions, and global platforms, FEDO has built a powerful collective voice advocating for Dalit women’s dignity, rights, and leadership. This dual identity as both a movement builder and a policy influencer remains central to its institutional strength.

Program Description: 

In response to the Flash Flood of Bhotekoshi, FEDO has been implementing Flash Flood response programs to support marginalized women by addressing immediate relief needs and food security concerns through a women-led community kitchen, winterization, and nutritious food in the flash-flood-affected districts of Nuwakot, Rasuwa, and Dhading. Under this program, FEDO plans to distribute the following relief materials as well as plan to conduct the community kitchen, and provide nutritious food, and requests sealed quotations for the following items.

The Quotation Should be sealed with the Company/Firm Registration, PAN Certificate, or VAT Certificate (VAT Registration Firms Only), Tax Clearance Certificate, Latest Renewal Certificate, Delivery Time/Date, Rate Validity Period, and Rate List in the provided format, with Stamp and Authorized Signature.

The FEDO Procurement Committee will review the quotation, and FEDO reserves the Right to accept or reject it, or select the suitable goods provider, without assigning any reason whatsoever.
