REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The Reintegration of Returnee Migrant Workers (ReMi) project, initiated in July 2022, is a bilateral initiative of the Governments of Nepal (GoN) and Switzerland. The project is funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented through a partnership between the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security; respective provincial line ministries and 20 local governments in Koshi and Madhesh Province. Helvetas Nepal provides technical assistance on the project.

The project seeks to engage a qualified individual consultant to formulate Return and Reintegration Plans for returnee migrant workers using Gender Action Learning System (GALS) tools, specifically the Road Vision Journey and Gender Balance Tree across 20 working locations in Madhesh and Koshi Provinces.

1. ReMi/Helvetas Nepal invites Proposals from the qualified individual consultant. The detailed ToR and proposal template can be obtained by downloading from https://notice.helvetasnepal.org/.
2. Number of required consultants: 2 (1 in each Province)
3. All interested applicants must be registered in the Helvetas Nepal Roster- roster.helvetasnepal.org  prior to submitting the proposal.
4. All proposals must be submitted by email to remi.np@helvetas.org no later than 5 PM; 14 December 2025, clearly indicating the province being applied for in the email subject line (e.g. Proposal_RRP_GALS_Province Name).
5. ReMi/Helvetas Nepal reserves the right to accept or reject wholly or partly any or all bids without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
