The Social Protection Civil Society Network (SPCSN) is a coalition formed on 16 February 2012 in Nepal, comprising 23 NGOs and 2 international NGOs. SPCSN advocates for the rights of vulnerable groups in Nepal, focusing on children, the elderly, people with disabilities, trafficking survivors, individuals with HIV/AIDS, single women, Dalits, and the landless. It promotes accountability among duty-bearers and interfaces between right holders and experts. SPCSN strives for sustainable, transparent, and accountable social security programs, emphasizing shock-responsive social protection and policy collaboration with the Nepal government. The network values networking, transparency, and mutual respect, with activities driven by marginalized groups and women's organizations.
