Panchtara Yuwa Samrakhak Manch (PTYSM) is a non-profit, non-governmental humanitarian and development organization registered with the District Administration Office, Jajarkot, and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council. Established in 1997, PTYSM is run by dedicated young development professionals and social workers with extensive experience in rural development. Operating in Karnali Province, the organization focuses on improving food security, nutrition, livelihoods, education, disaster risk reduction (DRR), humanitarian response, protection, and disability inclusion for marginalized communities. PTYSM’s mission is rooted in equity, inclusion, and resilience, with a commitment to ensuring that women, disadvantaged groups, and persons with disabilities benefit from its interventions.

PTYSM is going to implement the two different programme namely; HATEMALO for child Wellbeing and Integrated Development Project with major goal of children have access to quality education, health, and protection with civilized, cultured, and governed Bheri Municipality  and Nalgad Municipality in Jajarkot in partnership with World Vision International Nepal anticipating Children have access to health, education, and protection services, children demonstrate healthy behavior and practices, families adopt positive and nurturing child care practices, communities adopt positive social norms, demonstrate positive behavior, and take collective actions for child wellbeing,  local institutions including schools take actions to improve inclusive and quality services for all children,  policies related to prioritized CWB issues are localized and in place.as well as CBOs/ CSOs lead policy influence and advocacy action. Thus, PTYSM invites an application from competent and self-motivated Nepali candidates for the following full-time positions:

1. NCG (Nurturing Caring Group) Officer

Number of Position: One (1)

Position Description: This position will assist volunteers and social mobilizers to improve nutritional status of under five children and mothers, support to deliver key nutrition messages, hygiene and sanitation including creating healthy habits among children and families in the communities. This will involve guiding the nurturing care groups, producer groups, water user groups and other community groups to become cohesive, exercise strong governance, generate a mission, vision and strategy and develop practical action plans for nutritional improvement particularly for under five children. The purpose of this position is to lead NCG project models, nutrition programming, capacity building and coordination across project teams. With technical guidance from NGO Program Manager/Program Coordinator/WV Field Health and Nutrition Lead, the incumbent will effectively implement NCG programming using necessary technical tools, quality benchmark, and guidelines and analyze results for continuous improvements. The role provides support and backstopping for external relationship building with government line agencies and other related stakeholders in the AP/district. The NCG officer encompasses empowering community groups, households and institutions to address and manage nutrition, early childhood development, and child protection related issues and sustain improvements. The local resources are managed well to effectively run the project interventions for a longer run. This position requires to be innovative and problem-solving skills to adapt to changes and integrate with other sectors and cross-cutting themes to yield broader impact more effectively and efficiently.
