NCG Officer and Community Mobiliser

SOSEC Nepal was established in 1997 as a non-profit service provider for the greater improvement of the socio-economic and cultural conditions of the backward people living in the rural communities of Nepal. The organization has been implementing various projects/programs with the cooperation and support of various agencies to improve the social, economic, and cultural status of the backward communities living in the rural communities of Karnali State and various districts of the Far West and Lumbini provinces. The organization has been conducting its activities based on the following Thematic Areas: (a) Advocacy Against Inequality, (b) Resilient Livelihoods, (c) Safe and Save Life, (d) WASH and Nutrition, (e) Inclusive and Informal Education, and (f) Children Prosperity. SOSEC Nepal has been adopting the policy of protection/security of women and children and zero tolerance against corruption.

SOSEC Nepal is implementing various programs in partnership with multiple donor organizations, focusing on key thematic areas such as Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Sustainable Livelihoods, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), Child Welfare, Education, and Food Security. Currently, the organization is implementing the “HATEMALO for Child Well-being and Integrated Development Project” in partnership with World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), with a special focus on Child Protection, Education, and Nutrition.

1. Nurturing Care Group (NCG) Officer-(1 Position)

Duty Location: SOSEC Nepal, Dailekh

Contract Duration: Long-term position, Renewal on an annual basis

Direct reports to: Program Coordinator

Report to this position: N/A

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Community Nursing, or other relevant field. Minimum 3 years of experience in health or nutrition project management preferably having worked in close coordination with government institutions like rural/municipality, health facility, previous District Health Office etc.

Benefit: Salary/ PF/Gratuity/Insurance/Festival Allowance

Budget Responsibilities: As per the SOD/Project Agreement

2. Position: Community Mobiliser- (6 Positions)

Duty Location: Bhagawatimai-RM, Dailekh

Contract Duration: Long-term position, Renewal on an annual basis

Direct reports to: Program Coordinator

Report to this position:  N/A

Qualification: Higher Secondary Degree (+2) in any relevant field (Essential) with minimum 2 years of experience in community mobilization or similar fieldwork in development programs; Must be a local resident of Bhagawatimai RM-Dailekh.

Benefit: Salary/ PF/Gratuity/Insurance/Festival Allowance

Budget Responsibilities: As per the SOD/Project Agreement
