The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH invites applications from suitable and qualified consulting firm for the Climate Resilient for Organic Smallholders in Nepal (CROSIN) Project. 

CROSIN is a development partnership with aQysta BV, Midsona and GIZ under the develoPPP Programme that aims to increase the climate resilience and income of smallholder farmers in Nepal through the promotion of regenerative organic agriculture, the use of renewable energy in agro-processing and irrigation, and the development of transparent, traceable supply chains for export-oriented organic products. 

The project focuses on five key areas: 

1. Organic agriculture with agroforestry
2. Renewable energy powered agro-processing
3. Renewable energy powered irrigation
4. Responsible supply chain, with end-to-end digital traceability and transparency
5. Disseminate and scale up 

The project seeks a consulting firm for conducting organic certification process and deliver necessary services for the fulfillment of all the procedures needed for certification. GIZ/ CROSIN Project is inviting bid from organic certification agency that is recognized EU accreditation for Nepal as per EU regulation 2021-1378.

Eligible criteria: The tenderer should have:

• Recognized EU accreditation for Nepal as per EU regulation 2021-1378 and registered in Nepal.
• Evidence of samples testing through internationally accredited certified lab.
• Experience of working for more than 5 years in organic certification.
• Average annual transaction for last three years NPR five million
• Tax clearance certificate (Latest) 

The interested consulting firm can be obtained the Tender Document upon submission of a formal application, sent to the following address: NP_Inquiry@giz.de, before 14th August 2026, 5:00 pm. 

The application should include: a copy of company registration certificate, VAT/PAN certificate and as listed under the eligibility criteria. 

The bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, labelled "Tender Number (RFQ) 7000019662, EU organic certification of farmer groups and cooperatives in CROSIN project sites", to the following address no later than 5:00 pm, 17th August 2026.
