Job Vacancy 1: Food and Quality Manager / Food Technologist (Specializing in Spice Blending and Processing) Position: Food and Quality Manager / Food Technologist (Spices Blending & Processing) Location: Birtamode, Jhapa, Nepal Company: Nepal Everest Cardamom Production and Processing Pvt. Ltd. Salary: Starting at NRs. 40,000 (Plus, food and accommodation, insurance, and travel allowances) Employment Type: Full-time Job Description: Nepal Everest Cardamom Production and Processing Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Food and Quality Manager / Food Technologist with expertise in spice blending and processing. This role involves overseeing the blending, processing, and quality assurance of spices and cardamom-based products, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the blending and processing of spices, ensuring consistency in flavor, aroma, and quality. • Oversee quality control processes throughout production, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. • Develop and implement food safety and quality assurance programs (ISO, HACCP, GMP). • Lead research and development initiatives for new products and process improvements. • Coordinate with production teams to optimize efficiency and product quality. • Monitor sensory evaluations, product testing, and quality control assessments. • Maintain detailed documentation and reporting for quality assurance activities. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or related fields. • Specialized experience in spice blending and processing. • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the food production industry. • Knowledge of food safety standards (ISO, HACCP, GMP). • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
