BASE Organization (Backward Society Education) is a leading NGO officially registered in 1991 in Dang with DAO and SWC. BASE has been working in the field of Education and Social Protection (Child Labor and Human Trafficking), Livelihood, Agriculture, Entrepreneurship and Employment, Health, Nutrition and WASH, Peace, Governance and Human rights, Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction, GESI, Advocacy and Institutional Strengthening, infrastructure support and protection and promotion of traditional indigenous culture as well as increasingly working with beneficiaries from other marginalized communities.

BASE organization is implementing various projects including ‘Nurturing Health: A Life-Course Approach to Non Communicable Disease (NCD) Prevention in Nepal’ in 5 districts of Lumbini Province (Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Dang, Banke and Bardiya) with the financial support from Helen Keller Intl. The project aims to strengthen the prevention, early detection, and management of hyperglycemia in pregnancy (HIP), including gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM). Adopting a life-course approach, the project integrates NCD prevention into maternal health services while promoting healthy lifestyle practices.

BASE Organization intends to recruit qualified and experienced Nepalese citizen for the following position “subject to funding availability”:

1. Post: Field Officer - (2 Positions, 1 based in Bardiya Office responsible for Banke and Bardiya and 1 based in Taulihawa Office responsible for Rupandehi and Kapilvastu District).

Qualification and Experiences Requirement: At least Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field with at least 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, working directly with district health offices, municipalities and Health Facilities with national NGOs. S/he should preferably have a valid driving license for a scooter or motorbike.
