Education Trainee

Bikaska Lagi Ekata (SfD) invites applications for Education Trainee position under the WISE -Wisely Integrated School Education project, promoting Multi-Grade Multi Level pedagogy and ECED initiatives in community schools across Sndhupalchok, Dhading and Nuwakot districts. The project is supported by the German Nepalese Help Association (GNHA) and respective local governments.

Position Details: Number of positions : 2, 1 for Sindhupalchok (especially from Melamchi, Indrawati or Barhabise municipality) and 1 for Nuwakot (especially from Kispang, Mygang, Tadi or Bidur)

Duration: 6-9 months

Key Responsibilities: 

Provide mentoring and coaching to teachers on ECED and MGML pedagogy, including classroom observation and child-centered teaching practices.

Coordinate with schools, SMCs, PTAs, Mother Groups, and local governments while supporting daily project operations and field activities.

Assist in monthly progress tracking, reporting, documentation and development of case studies and success stories.

Duty Station and Working Hours: The official duty station will be Lazimpat-3, Kathmandu (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with frequesnt filed deployment to project areas

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Education or related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)

Good communication skills in English and Nepali, with basic report writing ability and strong interest in education and community engagement

Benefits: NRs. 20,000 per month as stipend, along with training and practical exposure to ECED and MGML methodology

Accommodation, food and transportation costs will be covered during field visits on an actual basis
