Welthungerhilfe/WHH Nepal is planning to implement the project “Circular Economy & Social Inclusion in Nepal: Reducing agricultural waste with the production and processing of banana fibres and providing marginalised Mukta Kamlari women with economic prospect” in Kanchanpur- Sudurpaschim Province

1. Interested Local NGOs (based in Kanchanpur) who have substantial working experiences with Mukta Kamlari or marginalized community, enterprise development in Banana value chain (promotion of banana fiber and weaving items, banana papers, vermicomposting form banana waste/stem etc) and in other livelihood activities. For the local NGO Partner, WHH highly encourage women led, Dalit led, Ethnic group & inclusive to apply.
2. Private Sector/company across Nepal with demonstrated expertise and working in following subsector like Banana fibre, thread and weaving items from fiber, Banana paper, vermicompost production form banana stem and wants to expand their business in Kanchanpur in collaboration with WHH, local government and mukta Kamlari communities. WHH encourages businesses, committed companies, and startups, who are looking for opportunities to expand their businesses. Ideas, innovation, and longer-term collaboration are highly encouraged to apply.
