Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Solar Power for Ranger Post Electrification
Local Initiatives for Biodiversity, Research and Development (LI-BIRD) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in October 1995 with its Head Office in Pokhara and Programme Coordination Office in Lalitpur. LI-BIRD is committed to capitalizing on local resources, innovations and institutions for the sustainable management of natural resources and building resilience to climate change for improving the livelihoods of target beneficiaries, which includes smallholder farmers, particularly women in Nepal.
Renewable Energy Access for Livelihoods in Fragile Buffer Zones - Phase 2 (REALIZE II) Project is an integrated initiative at the nexus of conservation, livelihoods, and renewable energy. The project is funded by Jersey Overseas Aid (JOA), technically led by Renewable World Nepal and jointly implemented by LI-BIRD and Beautiful Nepal Association (BNA) for the period of July 2025 to June 2029. Working areas of the project cover the Northern Buffer Zone of Bardiya National Park, specifically in Barahatal Rural Municipality and Bheriganga Municipality of Surkhet district.
Under the REALIZE II project, LI-BIRD has planned to support the Bardiya National Park with Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Solar Power for Ranger Post Electrification at four ranger’s posts namely: Guthi Rangers Post, Shivapuri Post, Thuloshree Post and Kalinara Post. Thus, LI-BIRD invites all the eligible firms to submit the sealed technical and financial bid for undertaking the assignment. The deadline for submission of proposals is 23 December 2025 (Tuesday) at 5:00 PM. Please note that the LI-BIRD Office have official holidays on Saturdays and Sundays. Interested applicants may submit any queries related to the EoI and ToR via email to procurement@libird.org Queries received over the weekend will be addressed during regular working days. All bids must be prepared and submitted in the English language. Bids received after the deadline shall not be accepted or considered for further evaluation.

Bids that do not meet the requirements will be discarded. Bids that meet the requirements and offer the best value for money will be considered for the further evaluation process. LI-BIRD reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the bids without assigning any reason whatsoever. All the costs associated with preparing and submitting the letter of interest and bids shall be borne solely by the companies.
