Dalit Janjati Utthan Kendra (DEUC) is a women-led, non-profit social development organization based in Bara District, Madhesh Province, Nepal. The organization has been working for more than 23 years to promote social inclusion, economic empowerment, and the rights of marginalized communities, particularly Dalit, Janajati, women, and other vulnerable groups. DEUC implements community-based programs in areas such as livelihood development, community health, climate adaptive agriculture, education support, social mobilization, and capacity building in collaboration with local governments and development partners.
DEUC invites applications from qualified and motivated Nepali candidates for the following positions under the project “Enhancing Economic Opportunity for Marginalized Communities in Baragadhi Rural Municipality”, supported by Childaid Network.
1. Admin and Finance Officer (Full-Time)
Duty Station: Head office Kalaiya
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project financial records and accounting systems
- Maintain administrative and financial documentation
- Support budgeting, procurement, and financial reporting processes
- Ensure compliance with donor financial guidelines and organizational policies
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance and administration, preferably in NGO/INGO projects
- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting systems, and procurement procedures
- Experience with donor-funded project financial reporting will be an advantage
- Good knowledge of computerized accounting and MS Office applications
- Good command of Nepali, local language, and English
Contract Duration:
Full-time position. The contract will be annual and renewable based on performance and project continuation.
2. Office Assistant (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Maintain office documentation and records
- Assist with logistics and coordination of project activities
- Provide administrative support to project and office staff
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum SEE or +2 level education
- At least 1 year of experience in office support or administrative work (NGO experience preferred)
- Basic knowledge of computer applications (MS Word, Excel, email)
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a team and maintain office records
Contract Duration:
Full-time position. The contract will be annual and renewable based on performance and project continuation.
