Details / requirements:
Do you love building WordPress plugins and work with the theme development process? Do you have experience with Object-Oriented development and API integration? Then this is the position for you!
The position is focused on backend development, so strong PHP and Object-Oriented coding are required. Knowledge of the WordPress database schema is highly-recommended, as well as working with custom post types and taxonomies, etc.
Required Skills:
- WordPress NEW plugin creation
- WordPress customization (theme/plugins)
- Experience with WordPress hooks
- Experience with AJAX via WordPress (nice to have)
- Version control using Github or Bitbucket
- Comfortable working independently
- Comfortable research solutions independently
- Excellent knowledge about user interface and browser compatibility
- Excellent analytical and planning skills
- At least 2-6 years of core development work
