WordPress Theme Developer (Senior/Mid Level)

We are looking for 5 WordPress Theme Developers to join our product development team. The product that you will build will be used by thousands of people from all around the world.

We create world-class WordPress Themes, Plugins, and SaaS products. Two of our popular products are Rara Themes and WP Travel Engine, both based on WordPress. 

With more than 4 million downloads, Rara Themes is one of the leading WordPress theme companies in the world.  It has 85+ free and premium WordPress themes and users from more than 150 countries. 

Similarly, WP Travel Engine is currently the world’s #1 travel booking WordPress plugin.  It has over 250,000 downloads and users from more than 100 countries

What will you be responsible for?

• Work closely with the Product Owners and development team to develop high-quality WordPress themes.

• Share knowledge and ideas among other developers on the project or tools used, or on any innovation made during the project.

• Prepare project documents for each project, including project development report and project completion report.

• Maintain and support current WordPress themes.

• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address the issues.

• A variety of other tasks involved in the development life cycle from start to finish.

How qualified you should be?

• Experience required 

  • Junior WordPress Developer -  1 year (minimum)

  • Mid WordPress Developer - 2 to 3 years 

  • Senior WordPress Developer - 3+ years 

• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax & React

• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.

• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers.

• Should have good knowledge of WordPress.org theme review guidelines.

• Strong understanding of PHP and OOP

• Should have excellent knowledge in PHP, MySQL, 

• Should have excellent knowledge in WordPress and should be able to work with designers in WordPress theme development.

• Should be familiar with Page builder plugins like Elementor

• Good to have an understanding of code versioning tools such as git, SVN.

• Good to have knowledge of task runners such as Grunt.

• Good knowledge of Gutenberg Blocks and React Library is a plus

• Attractive salary range: 

Senior WordPress Theme Developer: 50K to 100K

             Mid Level WordPress Theme Developer: 30K to 50K

Junior WordPress Developer - 20K to 30K
