Responsibilities

• Engage in the development of high-quality web applications and APIs

• Develop database schema and data model of the systems

• Maintain and update existing match-making algorithms into working code based on specified requirements

• Carry out technical documentation of the system and code base where applicable

• Use proper version control tools and maintain standard release workflows for software system deployment

• Carry out preliminary testing and quality assurance of the developed system before forwarding it to the QA team 

• Coordinate with business analysts, team members, and client representatives in the smooth development of the systems

• Engage in knowledge sharing and co-learning among team members in the company

Education and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors in IT with Min. 2 years as a full-time professional  Web Application/API Developer (Python)

• Good oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.

• The ability to work calmly and effectively in pressure situations and manage time effectively in a changing environment, strong conceptual and logical abilities, and strong planning and project abilities.

• Knowledge of project management tools such as ClickUp/Asana 

• Knowledge of source code management tools such as Git & Github

  
  

  
  

Reports to: The developer will report directly to the founder of Civi with day-to-day supervision provided by the team lead in Nepal.
