Nepal Family Development Foundation (NFDF) is a non-governmental, apolitical and non-profit making organization, established in 2011 with aim of working in the field of health, education and livelihood of the community and families. The organization works through research, advocacy, publication, social mobilization in coordination with concern agencies in comprehensive approach. NFDF in collaboration with the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit – Viyatnam and Nepal are implementing Typhoid Vaccine study program in the selected wards of Lalitpur Metro City.

Nepal Family Development Foundation (NFDF) is a non-political and non-profit organization working in the field of community development, research and capacity building of young people in Nepal. NFDF implementing the project PAHS, OUCRU-Nepal TyVAC Post Vaccination Surveillance and follow up in Lalitpur Metropolitan City. We would like to invite qualified candidates to apply for the position of Vaccine Facilitator. 

JOB TITLE: Vaccine Facilitator. 

LOCATION: Lalitpur

LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 6 Month

 Scope and Responsibilities

·       Vaccinate the selected study participant as per the study guideline

·       Take consent from the study participant (Parent, Legal parent) and collect information

·       Provide the proper information of vaccination

·       Follow the instruction of Supervisor

·       Ensure all the information is collected correctly

·       Coordinate and support filed work as per needed  

·       Other additional duties as the research project evolve

 

Qualification, skills and experience

·       Staff Nurse (SN) / Health Assistant (HA) and or CMA or relevant discipline.

·       Minimum 2 years of experiences for CMA and 6 months HA and Staff Nurses (SN) on providing basic health care services.

·       Experience in health-related research and development activities.

·       Excellent leadership and communication skills.

·       Strong interpersonal and team working skills.

·       Good knowledge on computer especially Microsoft (words, excel and PowerPoint)  and online application etc

·       Excellent communication skills, including a good command of spoken and written Nepali and/or Newari.
