VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Good Neighbors International (GNI) Nepal is an international non-governmental organization working in Nepal since 2002 with the objective of improving the lives of people, especially children through education, income generating activities, health services, WASH, advocacy, network building and disaster risk reduction. GNI Nepal invites application for the following two positions:

POSITION: 

1. ASSISTANT – ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT, HEAD OFFICE (ONE) 

Job Description:

  • Prepare the journal bookkeeping and ledger posting in three financial software 
  • Handle petty cash in coordination with admin and properly manage them
  • Check supporting documents for payments done through petty cash
  • Process and reconcile bank deposits
  • Prepare list of the Taxes detail to be deposited for all the projects
  • Scan vouchers on periodical manner and store data in server location

Job Specifications

  • At least one year of experience in account 
  • Should have completed Secondary Level Education 
  • Good knowledge in Excel, Word 
  • Reconciliation skill
  • Good command in typing and entry
  • Should have positive attitude, honesty and integrity

2. ASSISTANT – PARTNER REPORT, HEAD OFFICE (ONE) 

Job Description:

  • Check and confirm reporting of partner organisation
  • Compile expenditure of partner organisation 
  • Review cash balance of partner and report accordingly
  • Review payables and advance status of partner on periodic basis
  • Report any anomalies in payables and advance 
  • Check and confirm monthly and periodic finance report from partners
  • Archive the financial reports for further process in the department

Job Specifications

  • At least one year of experience in account 
  • Should have completed Secondary Level Education 
  • Good knowledge in Accounting Software
  • Good skill in reconciling financial report and variance report analysis 
  • Should have positive attitude, honesty and integrity
