Trainer Consultant for Cooperative Management/ Trainer Consultant for Comprehensive SRHR education in Kalikot district

Human Rights and Environment Development Centre (HuRENDEC) Nepal, Kalikot has been established in Kalikot and working in Karnali region for more than 2 decade. The organization has been working on need based action orientated multi-disciplinary areas through social mobilization especially focusing on human rights, livelihood, micro enterprise, infrastructure, climate change, cash for work, lobby/advocacy, empowerment, disaster management, natural resource management and eco friendly infrastructure. 

HuRENDEC Kalikot has been implementing “Girls Get Equal-Preventing Child, Early and Forced Marriage” in partnership with Plan International Nepal. The project has been implemented in 3 municipalities of Kalikot district. The project aims to empower youth girls and minimize the mal practices of local community in Kalikot district. For this, HuRENDEC Kalikot invites application from individual trainer or consultant firm for the following services. 

1. Trainer/ Consultant for Cooperative Management in Kalikot district

Purpose of Assignment 

The purpose of the assignment is to provide training on account training, cooperative management, cooperative legal status, and to cooperative members and staffs. After the training, trainee will able to well manage the data base and others management system and able to keep accounting system in cooperative in community.    

Scope of Assignment 

The consultant/ trainer will take a lead role during training session. Similarly, following are the basic assignment under this service.

• should provide technical managerial skills, account keeping ways and group mobilization to cooperative members and staffs. 
• Review necessary managerial aspect, emerging trends, communication channels/ group mobilization and proper ways of account keeping
• Develop the training schedule and provide to organizer
• Training should be conducted in Nepali language
• Document review of necessary management skills, account keeping, resource mobilization and coordination skills as well as relevant national and global experience in management.
• Training will be conducted in different 2 events will be 
• Submit the final training report to the organizer.

Deliverables 

Output-1: The consultant/ trainer should provide training curricula/ schedule and relevant materials/ handsouts to HuRENDEC for dissemination.

Output 2: The consultant/ trainer should provide final training report.

Key Participants/ trainee 

The cooperative members and staffs.

Duration and working schedule: tentative 10 days including planning and reporting days- (3/4days’ training in one event and altogether 2 events will be carried out)

Supervisory arrangements:

Under the overall guidance of the HuRENDEC-Nepal Representative and the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator will be expected to accomplish the workshop.

Qualification: 

• The consultant should have an extensive experience (minimum 3 years) in management training and accountant 
• Minimum Bachelors degree (Masters Degree preferred) in management, business studies or related subject 
• Excellent knowledge over training skills and motivational skills over management 
• Previous experience with managemnt, group mobilization and coordination skills preferred

2. Trainer/ Consultant for Comprehensive SRHR education in Kalikot district

Purpose of Assignment 

The purpose of the assignment is to provide comprehensive SRHR education to school's health teacher particularly knowledge over the SRHR related components and its Nepal’s legal provision, practice and problems for its implementation. After the training, the trainee will able to provide disseminate the ideas over the comprehensive SRHR in local community.   

Scope of Assignment 

The consultant/ trainer will take a lead role during training session. Similarly, following are the basic assignment under this service.

• should provide comprehensive SRHR education to health teacher
• Review necessary laws, policies and other guidelines applicable to the SRHRs
• Develop the training schedule (for five days) and provide to organizer
• Training should be conducted in Nepali language
• Document review of necessary legal and policy matters as well as relevant national and global experience in SRHR.
• Training will be conducted in regular 5 days and at least 2 events will be conducted
• Submit the final training report to the organizer.

Deliverables 

Output-1: The consultant/ trainer should provide training schedule/ curricula and relevant materials/ handsouts to HuRENDEC for dissemination.

Output 2: The consultant/ trainer should provide final training report.

Duration of Consultancy/ training: Around 10 days form contract date (for 2 event)

Key Participants/ trainee 

The health teachers of Kalikot district and persons working on SRHR
