International Nepal Fellowship (Nepal) is Non-Government Organization established in 1952 and serving poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal to enable life in its fullness through health and development service. INF Nepal is currently working in health and community development service in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashim provinces of Nepal.

INF Nepal Green Pasture Hospital (GPH), Pokhara serves peoples with specialized treatment and rehabilitation services in leprosy, spinal cord injuries & other neglected trauma, ear care and palliative care. GPH is looking for qualified, skilled, service oriented and committed Nepali citizens who share its vision, missions and values.

1.    Position: Staff Nurse              Required Number: 4              Location: GPH, Pokhara  

Purpose of the Job: 

The Palliative Care (PC) staff nurse is a key member of the PC team who contribute to smooth running of PC services in the inpatient, outpatient, community and day therapy settings; undertake appropriate PC training; provide direction to less experienced staff; contribute to the strategic education and training and be involved with the various ongoing research and audit projects undertaken by the service.

Required Qualifications, Skills and knowledge:

  • PCL in Nursing, registered with Nepal Nursing Council with minimum one year of relevant experience of working  in multidisciplinary team. 
  • Training and experience in palliative care will be an advantage. 
  • Good computer skill in word and excel. 
  • Good English language skill (written and spoken), good numeracy and interpersonal skills. 
  • A positive and proactive approach to patient care with genuine interest in helping people. 
  • Ability to work in a team and passionately demonstrate INF Nepal’s value in work setting. 

2.    Position: Palliative Care Worker       Required Number: 4       Location: GPH, Pokhara  

Purpose of the Job: 

The PC worker as part of the PC team assists the nurses in providing a holistic clinical PC service. The PC worker is a key member of the PC team who will be expected to assist to smooth running of PC services in the inpatient, outpatient, community and day therapy settings; undertake appropriate PC training; provide direction to less experienced staff; contribute to the strategic education and training and be involved with the various ongoing research and audit projects undertaken by the service.

Required Qualifications, Skills and knowledge:

  • Qualified ANM/CMA, registered with relevant council with minimum 6 months of relevant experience in multidisciplinary team. 
  • Training and experience in palliative care will be an advantage.  
  • Good computer skill in word and excel. 
  • Good English language skill (written and spoken), good numeracy and interpersonal skills. 
  • A positive and proactive approach to patient care with genuine interest in helping people. 
  • Ability to work in a team and passionately demonstrate INF Nepal’s value in work setting.
