Software Engineer, Front-End Developer

We are looking for front end developer who is responsible for ensuring the alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing web pages for maximum efficiency and maintaining brand consistency across all web pages, among other duties.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Design and develop websites/web applications based on customer requirements.

Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones.

Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.

Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

Write functional requirement documents and guides.

Create quality mockups and prototypes.

Translate UI/UX design wireframes to actual code.

Maintain and improve website, updating sites, troubleshooting, taking backup, etc.

Extract the design specifications from client's requirements.

Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

Ensure quality frontend application and API implementations.

Analyze website security and implement message encryption and firewalls for better control over confidential information.

Conducting website performance tests.

Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.

Skills & Experiences:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

At least 2 years of experience as a Front-end Developer or web developer. If you have more experiences, you are more eligible.

Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

Understanding of server-side CSS.

Experience with responsive and adaptive design.

Understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as angular, react, jQuery, etc.

Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.

Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / Mercurial / SVN.

Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.

Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.

In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving benchmarks.

A high level of experience with UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system.

Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, npm, yarn, grunt, etc.

Knowledge of object-oriented programming is an advantage.

Ability to write well-documented, clean Javascript code.

Knowledge of Web Analytics.

Understanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storage.

Experience with automated testing suites.

Experience with back end development can be advantage.

Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance.
