Senior Data Analyst

TITLE: Senior Data Analyst  

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in data analysis  
• Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• 2+ years’ professional experience in SQL
• 1+ year Professional experience in Python or other statistical analysis programming language
• Experience with Data Visualization and Reporting tools
• Knowledge of eCommerce platforms and marketplaces will be an added value.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Passionate about learning and self-motivated; drive to contribute ideas and share knowledge proactively; must be a team player. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
• Should gather and process both structured and unstructured data in a way that is useful for analysis including writing scripts, web data collection. 
• Create custom insight reports in visualization tools like Google Data Studios, AWS Quicksight, Tableau etc.  
• Write SQL queries and create reports in collaboration with other systems engineers and software developers.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to understand data and reporting needs, discuss the technical feasibility of the reporting needs, and to formulate data delivery plans and timelines.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and automation strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality.
• Data cleansing and data quality check – review reports and performance indicators to identify and correct issues or code where necessary.
• Devise and recommend solutions to client/business related problems.
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Creating appropriate documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
• Complete assigned projects and initiatives in a timely and efficient manner.
• Deliver to and communicate with clients effectively, regularly, and professionally.
• Communicate proactively and effectively with team members, team leads, and management.
• Assist in creating a friendly, entrepreneurial and A+ corporate culture in Nepal.

EDUCATION 

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Computer Science or equivalent

EXPERIENCE 

• Two plus years of data analysis experience in the above- mentioned domain would be preferred may apply.
