WaterAid is an international not-for-profit organization, established in 1981, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. We change millions of lives every year, working in 28 countries to provide clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene. WaterAid has been working in Nepal since 1987. Our work in Nepal spans across 9 districts. We team up with local partners, technical experts, governments and communities to support the delivery of integrated WASH services in hard to reach communities, helping to transform lives.

For reduction of spread of COVID-19 pandemic in Nepal, WaterAid Nepal targeted to support the initiatives of Government of Nepal (primarily Ministry of Health and Population and Ministry of Water Supply) for preparedness and response against the possible outbreak of COVID-19 in Nepal through Hygiene Behaviour Change Coalition (HBCC) project which covers 17 local level (2 Metropolitan city, 9 Municipalities and 6 Rural Municipalities) of 6 districts i.e. Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Kavre and Dolakha in Province 3, Siraha in Province 2 and Bardiya in Province 5. As the Hygiene promotion with access to critical WASH services as a first line of defense to respond to a global pandemic by provisioning/ensuring critical essential WASH services at HCF and EPI Clinics for which project targets to establish 300 contactless/ feet operated handwashing stations in Healthcare facilities (HCF) and Expanded Programme Immunization (EPI) Clinics. It is aimed to install the contactless HWS at the main entrance of HCF and EPI clinics for which visitor, mothers/ guardians of children under 15 months will use as learn to wash their hands. 

WaterAid Nepalhereby invites quotation from qualified and registered fabricator (Engineering Workshop) to undertake the fabrication of contactless Handwashing Station (HWS) and transportation & installation including repair & maintenance at the location where the project is targeted

Quotation Submission Method:

Interested qualified fabricator (Engineering Workshop) are requested to submit electronic copy of the requisite documents enclosed with the technical and the financial proposal package wise as stated in the TOR (Scope of the assignment). The interested fabricators are flexible to provide the quotation to individual package or all packages as per the capacity of their business in the quotation form attached to this through the email address nepal-procurement@wateraid.org within17 June 2020.
