Designing and Developing LANN+ Communities of Practices (CoP) website

Local Initiatives for Biodiversity, Research and Development (LI-BIRD) is a non-profit making, non-governmental organization established in 1995, registered at the District Administration Office, Kaski (Registration # 217/052/053), and affiliated to the Social Welfare Council, Nepal (Registration # 3394). LI-BIRD is committed to capitalizing on local resources, innovations, and institutions for sustainable management of natural resources for improving the livelihoods of smallholder farmers.

LI-BIRD and Aasaman Nepal (ASN) with financial support from BMZ/German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and Welthungerhilfe (WHH) are scaling up the LANN+ concept in six rural municipalities of Dhading and Salyan districts. The project aims to establish a community of practices (CoP) for bringing all key stakeholders working in nutrition, agriculture, natural resource management, and Sanitation/WASH into one platform for collective learning, knowledge exchange, and action. The project envisioned the website as a key tool for connecting people, by providing a platform for collective learning, sharing, and generating ideas. The website will have multiple functions. It serves as an information hub for the LANN+ project and stores secondary data. The information uploaded on the website can be used for scaling up good practices, designing interventions, and advocacy purposes. Similarly, the secondary information can be useful reference materials for government offices, I/NGOs, and CBOs. The primary users of the website will be the project team, researchers, civil society, students, and development workers. Therefore, LI-BIRD invites all the eligible consultants/firms to submit the proposal for developing, designing, and hosting the LANN+ CoP website. The bidders shall comply with all the details mentioned in the ToR while submitting the proposal. The detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) can be downloaded from the link below:
