For development of Integrated TIP Management Information System (ITMIS)

Hamro Samman is a five-year project with the goal to reduce the prevalence of TIP in Nepal by bringing together implementing partners and various stakeholders including Government agencies, civil society organizations and private sectors. The project is generously supported by the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the British people through United Kingdom (UK) aid and implemented by Winrock International using the '4Ps' framework – Prevention, Protection, Prosecution and Partnership. It is being implemented in 3 Provinces, 10 strategically selected districts and 36 local governments of Nepal.

The project is seeking a software development company to partner with the project to develop and establish an integrated TIP management information system to counter human trafficking. The system will be deployed in all the three spheres of government, i.e., Federal, Provincial and Local Government. The integrated data system will be deployed as Software as a Service, (SaaS) and which will be hosted by the Federal ministry in the Government Integrated Data Center (GIDC). The system will capture TIP related data from all the administrative level of Nepal, following the data flow from lower administrative body to higher administrative body and consolidate it all into a centralized repository. Also, the Civil Society Organization (CSO), job recruitment agencies, shelter homes, child protection house, Juvenile correction house and other relevant governmental agencies, sister organizations and any other relevant stakeholders with access to the system can input data into it. This will allow horizontal and vertical information sharing, use and analysis of data across jurisdictions, which in turn will support for more evidence-based decisions, like equal and appropriate allocation of resources, formulation of new policies, rules and laws, and advocacy, etc., in the fight against human trafficking.
