WaterAid is an international not-for-profit organization, established in 1981, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. We change millions of lives every year, working in 28 countries to provide clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene. 

WaterAid has been working in Nepal since 1987. Our work in Nepal spans across 9 districts. We team up with local partners, technical experts, governments and communities to support the delivery of integrated WASH services in hard to reach communities, helping to transform lives.

WaterAid Nepal is implementing the project “Beacon municipality- wide equitable water sanitation and hygiene services in Lahan” for 3-5 years. This project is the joint initiative of Anglian Water and their alliance partners, Nepal Water Supply Corporation (NWSC) and Lahan Municipality. 

WaterAid Nepalhereby invites quotation from interested and registered service providers (Vendors) for Supply and installation of Deep Tube Wells in NWSC – Lahan Branch.

Objective

The overall objective of the work is to improve the supply of chlorinated water to the networks of NWSC Lahan. The specific objectives of the work will be to:

i.   Supply and install additional two deep tube wells in two locations of NWSC Lahan facilities. (Refer Annex I - Detail technical specification and Bill of Quantities of ToR)

ii.   Develop well and perform pumping test/recovery test as per the technical specification.

There will be a virtual pre- bidding meeting on 3 December 2020. So the interested bidder shall request for clarification on the quotation documents in writing through email at nepal-procurement@wateraid.org within 2 December 2020 to be eligible to sit for the pre bidding meeting. 

Interested vendors are requested to submit hardcopy or electronic copy of the requisite documents within 9 December 2020 COB.

Two separate files or envelope for technical and financial proposal shall be submitted.

The vendor must enclosed cover letter along with their organizational profile, company registration and updated renewal, VAT registration certificate and recent tax clearance certificate in following address:
