Rastriya Rojgar Prabhandhan Kendra (RRPK), Social Development Centre (SDC) and Rural Development Centre (RDC) are implementing “Integrated Nutrition and Resilient Livelihood Project”, funded by World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), in Sarlahi, Mahottari and Rautahaut respectively. Through the Integrated Nutrition and Resilient Livelihood Project, Partner NGOs and WVIN will work to strengthen capacity of Ultra poor household and community to cope with economic daily needs and shocks through decent work. The project will work alongside vulnerable families and government authorities to establish and strengthen social, livelihood and financial wellbeing to build a more stable, dignified and reliable livelihood.

The project uses saving for Transformation (S4T) model for assuring the financial inclusion of the vulnerable HHs. It is being planned to integrate S4T model with UPG program, to promote saving habits and financial wellbeing of our beneficiaries. S4T facilitators will be selected from all the district, who will receive S4T training along with all the field staffs of respective organization.

A S4T group is member-owned and composed of a small number of people who save together in a safe, convenient and flexible way. They use a simple, transparent method to accumulate and convert small amounts of cash into savings that can then be lent to members as credit. In this regard, RRPK is planning to organize training to equip with skills and knowledge of staffs on S4T model and its implementing process.
