Request for Expression of Interest(EOI) for the provision of Medical Insurance

CARE Nepal, like any other International Non Government Organization (INGO) in Nepal, operates through a general agreement with Social Welfare Council, Government of Nepal that allows it to implement various community development projects and programs in the country. We facilitate the empowerment of poor, vulnerable and socially excluded people to fulfill their basic needs and achieve social justice.

CARE International in Nepal (CARE Nepal) is in the process of selecting an insurance company to provide medical insurance for the period from July 2021 to June 2022 to its staff. CARE Nepal requests EOI from medical insurance companies to send their expression of interest along with the following documents to npl.carenepal@care.org with the subject line “Expression of Interest for provision of Medical Insurance” by 13 May, 2021.

• Company registration document
• VAT certificate
• Profile of the company
• Document of affiliation with internationally recognized medical insurance companies (re-insurance)
• Infrastructure and other capacity of the company
• List of clientele 
• Proposal based on terms of reference (medical insurance policy details, claim procedure, scale of benefit breakdown in detail, premium amount, payment clause and other)
