Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Consultancy Support

DEC Nepal has been implementing Empowering a New Generation of Adolescent Girls with Education (ENGAGE) Project in Khajura, Baijanath and Kohalpur Municipalities of Banke district for the inclusive education and empowerment of girls with disabilities, marginalized girls and boys with disabilities. ENGAGE has been funded by FCDO and led by VSO (Volunteer Service Overseas, Nepal). Handicap International (HI) has been leading the project in Banke and providing technical assistance.  

DEC Nepal is looking Consultancy service for conducting training for the Itinerant Teachers (IT) based on the developed/adapted manual for 14 days during the month of February, 2022. Interested and experienced individual or forms of same field are requested to submit application along with the following documents hardcopy or through email to the address and deadline mentioned below:

Consultant Profile:

• Minimum master’s degree in education/Inclusive Education/Disability or social science
• Minimum five years’ experience in facilitating training to resource person
• Skills and experience on how to support children with developmental disability, multiple and profound/severe disabilities
• Knowledge and experience in the field of Inclusive Education and disability is highly preferred
• Excellent counselling and facilitation skill is highly preferred

• A brief concept note highlighting the methodological design including work plan, and quality assurance mechanisms. 
• The proposal should have annexed bio-data of the assignment team member/s.
