Quality Assurance Engineer

        Duties and responsibilities:

• Test new features to make sure of smooth integration into related systems to meet functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications.

• Manual/Automated testing of in house Core Banking System, Tablet Banking System, Human Resource Management System and Mobile Banking System.

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

• Perform thorough regression testing to confirm bugs are resolved.

• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client requirements.

• Investigate the root causes of non-conforming  requirements to resolve the issues/bugs.

• Document and track quality assurance metrics to generate reports like defect densities and open defect counts.

• Test and accept the task listed in the weekly current release.

• Provide support and guidance to clients during field visits.

• Prepare/review test scenarios and test cases to cover all the corner cases.
  
  

            Educational Requirement:

• Bachelors in BE. Computer or equivalent.

  
  

  
  

  
  

  Technical Requirement:

• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.

• 1+ years in software testing with automated tools and testing frameworks.

• Experience in database technologies and writing SQL queries.

• Knowledge of bash/python scripting.

• Experience in API Testing, Security testing, Load Testing along with report analysis.

• Experience with Agile Development and Agile Testing Process.

  
  Other Requirement:

• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.

• Planning and organizing.

• Experience or knowledge on financial applications (nice to have).

• Experience or knowledge on fintech applications (nice to have).

• Mentoring and monitoring team members.
