Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal is a non-political and non-profitable organization established in June 2002 with its head office in Rautahat District of Nepal. Since then, RDC is heavily engaged in humanitarian assistance, community development, conservation of natural resources, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the dozens of humanitarian and long-term development projects reaching out to the children, adolescent, youth, women, landless, urban poor, and people living with disabilities, HIV & AIDS, conflict and disaster survivors from the poor families of historically marginalized Dalits, Muslims, Madheshi and Indigenous communities and other underprivileged groups.

In partnership with World Vision International Nepal, RDC Nepal started working in Garuda Rural Municipality and Madhav Narayan Municipality of Rautahat district for project assessment and designing. So, RDC Nepalseeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on following positionsfor smooth implementation of assessment and design phase.

Project Coordinator (1- Nos.)

Qualification

  • Master's Degree in Public Health, Education, Social Science, Developmental Studies or relevant discipline.

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrated depth of experience and effectiveness preferably in an NGO context in working with community/grassroots people and organizations, specially focus on Most Vulnerable Children and communities.
  • Extensive experience and recognized expertise in models and methods of training, facilitation and capacity building, Project Management and organizational development for staffs, communities and government stakeholders.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in NGO sectors

Admin & Finance Officer (1- Nos.)

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or any relevant discipline 

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • Previous work experience in an NGO environment and in basic HR functions/administration skills is an advantage.
  • Strong computer literacy, and proven experience of computerized accounting packages and using Excel Spreadsheets (MS Office Package), Famas
  • At least 2 years of experience in relevant field

DPA Assessment Officer (1- Nos.)

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or in any relevant discipline

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • At least 2 years of experience in Assessment, monitoring or research.
  • Strong computer literacy, and proven experience of MS Office Package, Epi Info, SPSS and other statistical software. 
  • Community consultation and mobilization skills
  • Data collection methodologies (qualitative and quantitative), research tools development, sampling technique.
