Bheri Environmental Excellence Group (BEE-Group) is an autonomous, independent, and non-partisan non-governmental organization. It was established in 2000 AD, Banke district. Since its establishment, it has been working to promote and protect human rights, environmental conservation, and improvement of health and nutrition status, sustainable livelihoods, WASH and education in Lumbini Province of Nepal with building a trustworthy reputation.

BEE-Group is seeking qualified and experienced following positions for the "COVID-19 Emergency Response" project is implementing in Banke and Bardiya district in partnership with CARE Nepal. The project aims to strengthen the health system of Palika for better preparedness and effective response to the COVID-19 impact and improve the access of vulnerable communities in sustainable livelihoods, WASH facilities, and risk communication for effective response to the disaster. 

1. Programme coordinator– One (100%) based in Banke, district

Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Bachelor degree in Public Health from a recognized institute,
  • 3-5 years of experiences in working with I/NGOs,
  • Proven experiences and knowledge on capacity building and strengthening the health system for better preparedness and response to the health emergency at the local level,
  • Proven experiences in coordination with local government authorities, civil society at the local and district level,
  • Proven skills in planning and implementation of program activities ensuring the budget utilization as per the plan,
  • Proven skill in capacity building, development and facilitation of the meeting, workshop and training developing the course content and manual,
  • Strong ability to analyze a situation, synthesize information and use the outputs to improve implementation and good coordination with like-minded stakeholders,
  • Proven skills in staff mobilization and management and support to admin and finance in procurement management,
  • Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments under tight deadlines,
  • Strong organizational and logistical skills with demonstrated experience in strategic planning and ability to work independently,
  • Good in project report writing in English, data management, writing case/success stories based on the qualitative and quantitative information, documentation and presentation, 
  • Familiar with project planning and monitoring tools,
  • Well versed in English and Nepali languages and have good knowledge of computer skills with general software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint,
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking and negotiation skillswith local and district stakeholders,
  • Ability to work effectively with an ethnically diverse team in a sensitive environment,
  • Proven ability to learn quickly, facilitate program implementation to achieve stated results and objectives.

2. Field Supervisor – Two (100%) based in Banke and Bardiya district 

Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Completed the Health Assistant/Staff Nurse from a recognized institute,
  • Proven experience in 3-5 years working with I/NGOs,
  • Strong communication skills and coordination with local government, civil society and community, 
  • Proven skills in planning and implementation of program activities in the field based on the detailed implementation guidelines, 
  • Proven skills in capacity building, development and facilitation of the meeting, workshop at the community and municipal level,
  • Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments under tight deadlines
  • Good writing skills to prepare event reports, periodic reports, success stories gathering qualitative and quantitative information,
  • Good in writing reports and success stories in English and Nepali, 
  • Proven skills in negotiation, networking, advocacy, and coordination at the municipal level,
  • Ability to work effectively with an ethnically diverse team in a sensitive environment,
  • Proven ability to learn quickly, facilitate program implementation to achieve stated results and objectives.
