Program Manager - Health and Office Security Guard

Lutheran World Relief (LWR), a U.S.-based non-profit development organization, is seeking applications from the qualified candidates for following position Nepal based office.

a) Program Manager -Health

Program Manager -Health is responsible to support LWR’s local partners and government of Nepal in rolling out COVID-19 vaccine. The incumbent will represent LWR in the Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP) and district public health offices, local government stakeholders (municipalities) and will oversee the program that partner NGOs implementing in the districts. 

Required Qualifications and Responsibilities 

• A Bachelor’s degree in Public health/medicine/nursing with 5 years of experience working in public health sector.  
• Should have strong health experiences and working familiarity about Nepal government’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout and other health programs. 
• Fluent written and spoken English and Nepali language is needed.
• Lead design and implementation of the project in coordination with government health stakeholders and local partners.
• Maintain and liaise cordial coordination, communication and collaboration with government stakeholders, donors, peer agencies and local partners.
• Provide technical health supports to local partners and field health workers/staff.
• Supports and facilitate to explore new health program opportunities in the country. 
• Lead and facilitate design health related communication and learning documentation.
• Good coordination, communication, network and training facilitation skills are essential skills. 
• Previous working experience in similar settings will be preferred.

b) Security Guard: 

Security guard is responsible to provide security service to LWR office.

Required qualification: 

• Able to write and communicate in Nepali,
• Willing to switch duty between day and night shifts. 
• Having previous experience of working as security guard is preferred.
