CRS Nepal has been implementing emergency response and recovery (Include Covid-19) program in Nepal, and further plans to extend sustainable development program in various districts of Nepal. Additionally, CRS is also implementing USAID supported livelihood technical assistance program in Bagmati Province, Province 5, Karnali Province and Sudurpaschim Province. Program Director - 1 position based in Kathmandu
As a member of the Nepal/Bangladesh Country Programs (CP) Senior Management Teams, you will provide strategic direction, leadership, and management of the CP’s programming to ensure the establishment and successful implementation of high-quality programs serving the poor and vulnerable. You will play a critical role in ensuring the capacity of staff and local partners is strengthened to implement high quality programming. Your leadership, management and knowledge will ensure that the CP delivers high-quality programming and continuously works towards improving the impact of its programming.
- Master's Degree in International Development, International Relations or relevant field required, along with a minimum of five years of relevant field-based program management, at least three years of middle/senior management experience.
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 40 % of the time, as the COVID situation allows, between Bangladesh and Nepal and in field locations in both countries.
- Fluency in English required. Bangla and/or Nepali/Hindi language capacity highly appreciated.
