Program Associate-:- The Program Associate-Children’s Home is responsible for the care, wellbeing, and upbringing of the children living within the Kopila Valley Children’s Home. Your role is to provide the basic parental, pastoral, and holistic care in order to provide the children with the brightest future possible. It is also your responsibility to manage and coordinate with all of the other staff members who work within the Kopila Valley Children’s Home, and make sure that all related operations are running as smoothly as possible.

Role and Description  Should be loving towards kids with knowledge of health and safety, Computer skills, including experience using MS word and e-mail. They may also require decision-making skills, critical thinking, time-management skills; interpersonal and communication skills; multi-tasking skills; leadership skills; ability to guide and motivate employees; good physical condition; flexible scheduling.

Details of the Position and requirements

 Major Duties & Responsibilities

·       Creating and maintaining a schedule for all activities and routines for the kids in the Kopila Valley Children home and making sure that it is followed.

·       Supporting the children in their education and ensuring that the children study an appropriate amount.

·       Being responsible for the health needs of the children, and using all available resources including first aid, the school clinic and local and national health centers as required.

·       Monitoring the home supplies and making sure they are adequate and up to date at all times.

·       Managing the children’s clothing and hygiene and encouraging the older children to take responsibility for their own clothing and hygiene as much as possible.

·       Performing regular check-in with the children in a one to one format in order to provide support and engage their needs.

·       Managing positive interaction activities targeted at providing growth and development of the kids.

·       Making sure the home is running smoothly.

·       Being responsible for disciplining the kids in the Kopila Valley Children Home.

·       Liaising with the Program coordinators to support the program and address any needs that the children going through.

·       Coordinating with other caregivers and Kopila Valley Children’s Home staffs.

·       Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the Employee by the Employer.

·       Undertake any other duties delegated by Organization.
