Plugin Developer (Senior and Middle Level)

We, at Codewing  are looking for  2 Senior Plugin Developers and 2 Mid Level Plugin Developers  to join our plugin development team. The product that you will build will be used by thousands of people from all around the world. 

You will be working with the Product Strategy Team and Marketing Team to build world-class products. 

If you are hired, you will work remotely but are expected to work from our office in Hadigaun (near Baluwatar) when the pandemic is over and it is safe to work from the office.

We create world-class WordPress Themes, Plugins and SaaS products. Two of our popular products are Rara Themes and WP Travel Engine, both based on WordPress.

What will you be responsible for?

• Working closely with the Product Strategy Team to create WordPress Plugins

• Follow WordPress.org plugin development and review guidelines 

• Work with the team to come up with plugin ideas, creating plans and implementing them

• Represent the company at WordCamp and WordPress events 

How qualified you should be?

• Minimum 3 years of development experience for Senior Plugin Developers and minimum 1 year of development experience for Mid level Plugin Developers

• Have an understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery and OOP and how it relates to proper WordPress plugin architecture and extendability

• Experience with Gutenberg Blocks and React Library is a plus

• Understand the importance of WordPress and the Community

• Care deeply about your work and the experiences you create

• Highly proactive, attention to details and   accountability for delivering high quality work

• A team player and have a problem-solving aptitude

• Strong written and verbal communication
